For carriers and drivers

Got a text from Chain? Here's what it is.

Brokers use Chain to keep their loads moving. If you're hauling for one of them, you may get texts or emails about your load from their team, sent through Chain. It's free for you, and you don't have to download anything to answer.

For drivers

Answer how you want. No app required.

Just reply

Answer the text the way you'd answer a person. Photos and documents work too: snap the POD and send it.

Or share your ELD

Already on Samsara, Motive or another ELD? Share the tracking link and there's nothing else to install.

Or use the app

The Chain driver app keeps your loads in one place across every broker that uses Chain, and it's free.

For dispatchers and carriers

See every load you're hauling for Chain brokers.

Dispatchers get a free login with visibility on loads they're running for brokers on Chain. Carriers also get available loads and backhaul offers out of their delivery location.

  • Free, always. Brokers pay for Chain; carriers never do.
  • One thread per load, so your dispatcher and driver see the same information.
  • Pay questions go to a person at the brokerage. Chain's assistant doesn't handle money.

Questions

Drivers ask

Who is texting me?

The brokerage you're hauling for, through Chain. Messages are signed by their team. If you ask whether you're talking to an automated assistant, it'll tell you.

Do I have to download anything?

No. You can reply by text, share an ELD tracking link, or use the app. Your choice.

Who sees my location?

The brokerage on the load you're hauling, which may pass updates on to its customer. Questions about a specific load go to that brokerage.

Something's wrong with a load. Who do I talk to?

Reply in the thread and ask for a person. Anything about pay, detention or lumpers goes straight to the broker's team.

We'll open a live production environment, walk a real load from first offer to final POD, and show you what Autopilot would do with yours.
